Google Classroom Review
Google Classroom is a complimentary online platform that enables the creation, distribution, collection, and grading of assignments across various subjects. The app is designed by Google to make interactions of students and tutors easier and boost communication out of the school. Every feature within the app is accessible at no cost, allowing you to expand your virtual classroom to any size without any restrictions.
Functionality – 5/5
Google Classroom lets you create comprehensive courses on virtually any school and university subject and share tasks with your class. There are no limitations to the number of class members so that you can connect large university groups. Tasks support media integrations, which means you can create exciting media-driven tasks to engage people more. This feature also makes file sharing with multiple students very simple. Once you create a classroom, you can attach PDF, DOCX, XLSX, and other file types to share them.
Design – 4/5
Google did it again and designed one more straightforward application with a minimalistic user interface that includes nothing but white backgrounds, stylish material design icons, and text. On the one hand, the app looks a bit plain, but on the other, it feels very comfortable and displays just the right amount of information in each section. The only significant downflow of the app is the absence of a bottom menu of a sidebar for quick navigation.
Usability – 5/5
Before the pandemic, this app was a convenient instrument for tutors who wanted to add free and effective interactive elements into the program. Today, the app lets the same tutors stay effective despite the growing social distancing. Both teachers and students can benefit and keep safer by using this app for receiving materials and sharing complete homework with tutors.
Cross-platform use – 5/5
Similarly to other cloud-based services of the developer, Google Classroom is available for smartphones and tablets and web browsers on any computer OS. Due to this, you can integrate the app into any classroom.
