Genshin Impact Version 5.0: Discover the Mysteries of Natlan and Exciting New Characters
Excitement is building as Genshin Impact prepares to unveil its upcoming Version 5.0 expansion. Developer Hoyoverse has revealed that this significant update will bring a wealth of new content to the beloved free-to-play RPG, scheduled for release later this month. Players can look forward to a fresh region to explore, new characters to meet, and an abundance of additional storylines to enjoy.
Set to launch on August 28, the Version 5.0 update, titled ‘Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn’, will introduce Natlan, a new major region within the expansive world of Teyvat. This sixth nation will be accessible via a newly established Teleport Waypoint, making it convenient for veteran and novice players alike who have completed the early ‘Prologue of the Archon’ quest in Mondstadt.
Known as the 'Nation of Pyro' or the 'Nation of War', Natlan offers a warm environment and is situated to the west of the existing Sumeru desert. The local population is divided into six principal tribes, with three of them playing pivotal roles in the new expansion. Additionally, players will encounter charming dragon-like creatures called Saurians, which coexist with the inhabitants of Natlan.
Completing the initial act of Natlan's Archon Quest, available to players at Adventure Rank 28 and higher, rewards participants with Kachina, one of the three newly introduced characters. This four-star Geo polearm user boasts the ability to summon the ‘Turbo Twirly’ vehicle, making it easier to navigate steep terrains. The remaining two characters are the five-star Kinich and Mualani.
Kinich wields a formidable claymore and utilizes a grappling hook, while Mualani glides across the battlefield on a whimsical ‘Sharky Surfboard’, which also enhances traversal over water surfaces.
As Genshin Impact nears its fourth anniversary, players can anticipate numerous free rewards and benefits during the Version 5.0 update. This includes a special daily login event that allows players to earn up to 10 Intertwined Fate. Gamers will also receive 1,600 Primogems, along with two unique gadgets, ‘Firstborn Firesprite’ and ‘Kaboom Box’, delivered through in-game mail. Furthermore, a complimentary five-star character of the player’s choice from the Standard Wish lineup will be available.
