Google Chrome 115 Rolls Out Privacy Sandbox to Protect User Data
Google Chrome 115 began its phased rollout earlier this week, and while no new features are present in this version, there is something to help users maintain their privacy online. The Privacy Sandbox, first proposed in 2019, is Google's strategic plan to eliminate browser cookies, which are notorious for tracking user activities and preferences.
The Privacy Sandbox, however, does not aim to entirely halt advertisers from targeting their audiences. Instead, its goal is to limit the amount of personal data that marketers can access.
