Overwatch World Cup Online Qualifiers: 12 Teams, 6 Spots, and a Road to BlizzCon
This weekend promises exciting action for Overwatch enthusiasts as the Online Qualifier stage of the World Cup takes center stage. Fans from around the globe, and especially those keen on the EMEA scene, can expect intense matchups as teams battle it out in this crucial phase. In this stage, 12 teams are aiming to secure one of six coveted spots for the Main Event. The follow-up tournament is planned for late August, featuring an online group stage that will decide the eight nations moving forward to the playoffs scheduled for an in-person event at BlizzCon in mid-September.
